september top EC droppers

thanks to my top ten entrecard droppers, here's a link love for you guys.  i'll try to send the 50EC later, i am having a problem transfering the EC credits as of this writing, it seems entrecard is having some glitch due to the overhaul of the entrecard economy.  

i would also like to inform you that i am no longer giving out EC credits to my top droppers for the month of october and for the next months to come. i am sorry but it is a bit difficult sending EC with the new system adopted by entrecard and they are now charging you a percentage when sending EC credits, so as much as i want to continue giving EC credits i am sorry.  but is will still give a link love to my top entrecard dropper every month. thanks guys

UPDATE: I was able to send out the 50EC credits to my top 5 droppers but got an error that i've already sent a maximum of 14 transfer of EC for the week! i guess they included those unsuccessful EC transfer i've made last night when sending the EC, anyways to the bottom half of my top droppers, i'll send your EC credits next week.  i hope entrecard resolve these issues soon. *sigh*

ukay ukay for men

my first post showing ukay ukay men :) yep, its not only girls who's into ukay ukay, men too!

actually if yoiu're a regular ukay ukay shopper you'd notice that these ukay ukay stores carry tops for men, branded shirts and jackets.  they even have very nice cargo shorts for men.

this dunhill long sleeves is worth 250pesos, bought at one of the ukay ukay stores within cubao.

One thing i love about ukay ukay is that they offer tons and tons of jackets, a million jackets to choose from is not an exaggeration! I know, we live in the Philippines and we dont really need jackets for about 11months (we only do get cold weather during christmas season i know!) but then again, jackets are a really nice snuggle outfit especially here in this thypoon infested country that we live in hehehe

UKAY UKAY SHOPPING TIP: Don’t look for labels but for clothes that you’re looking.  True, you can find great signature items at a very low price in ukay ukay stores but you dont shop at ukay ukay for brands, you're there to find unique and chic items.  Dont be a label whore. ;)

ukay ukay stores at carriedo

i've mentioned in my previous post that i will show you where i bought the two dresses, so here is where exactly i found them...

so where is this ukay ukay store located? it is along the stretch of avenida or carriedo. actually you can find lots of ukay ukay stores along avenida, starting from recto till carriedo. in case you dont know where carriedo is, just ride the LRT and get off at carriedo station.

in case you cant find an ukay ukay clothes or item that you like, you need not worry that your trip is wasted, as i have said this stretch is full of ukay ukay stores (avenida used to be the fashion hub of manila, i guess you can now say its an ukay ukay hub as well hehehe)

to those of you wondering how an ukay ukay store looks like, here it is ...

this is what you'll see inside an ukay ukay store, racks and racks of used clothing sorted by skirts, tops, pants, etc.  this particular store is really small, some ukay ukay store even have bags hanging and display of shoes.

as i have mentioned before be warned, most ukay ukay stores doesnt have air conditioning and no fitting room.  in case you are allergic to dust this aint the place for you but that can be remedied i think by taking antihistamine before shopping.

i know i have readers out there who want to share their ukay ukay finds but afraid to show their faces and let the whole world know that they are wearing an ukay ukay item, so worry no more... i am going to hide your face using my cat's face for anonymity =^..^=

of course, the dress is an ukay ukay find, originally priced at 100 pesos but i was able to haggle *grin* i actually bought 2 dresses (from the ukay ukay shop at carrriedo two weeks ago) and the girl said i could have the two dress for 180 only, so this little black dress (LBD) is only 90pesos. (oh yeah pamasahe rin yun sukling 20 noh!)


UKAY UKAY SHOPPING TIP: when you buy plain clothes or earth colors item from ukay ukay, just add an accessory and it will look more expensive than it is hihihi.
