i know i haven't updated this blog for such a long time, but i am back! :) and i'll be having an ukay ukay flavor of the month series. wherein i'll be feauturing ukay ukay fanatics all month long with their best ukay ukay finds. so if you want to be featured here, just drop me an email and do send photos of your favorite ukay ukay finds :)
and now let me introduce you to my June girl - che, the ukay ukay flavor of the month. Che is a very good friend of mine and we've known each other since college days, and has become an ukay ukay fan after reading my fabulous ukay ukay finds here hehehe... she even tried to ransack my closet hahaha... and then i introduced her to the art of ukay ukay shopping and it was in carriedo where she had her first taste of the ukay ukay charm, and from then on she's hooked! btw, the gray top she's wearing is from ukay worth only 30 pesos. she's really a fast learner and has mastered the art of buying at ukay ukay :)

my model was gracious enough to bring her Louis Vuitton (saumur) bag from ukay ukay for me to take pictures :)

black is in! well black has never really been out of fashion anyways...
if you would see my closet specially before my wardrobe consists of blacks only, and a few splashes of white and some earth tone colors but black has always dominated my closet. because black clothes is so universal and very easy to match with any color or occasion.

Bien's messenger bag... according to him it is made of real leather and he has been scouring boutiques to find a simple leather messenger bag and had no luck, till one fine day he visited a nice ukay ukay shop in cubao. sorry my photo doesnt give justice to this nice ukay ukay find.

cymbiotic
do you want a brand new leather bag for only 300 pesos? go shop now at an ukay ukay in fairview. received this great ukay find from cymbie and i asked her to bring me next time she visit that store, she willingly said she'll bring me there but warned me that i should bring my backpack ang lots a bottled water since fairview or farview is very very very far LOL.cymbie brags that this leather bag (Preston & York) is brand new, originally priced at 390 pesos but because of her charm she only paid 300 pesos :) it was even covered in plastic and have a tag. and the key that was included in the purchase is soo cute.
i'm so excited to see this ukay ukay store, because according to cymbie, this store even have second hand high end bags like bottega veneta among others.

actually if yoiu're a regular ukay ukay shopper you'd notice that these ukay ukay stores carry tops for men, branded shirts and jackets. they even have very nice cargo shorts for men.this dunhill long sleeves is worth 250pesos, bought at one of the ukay ukay stores within cubao.
